Product Overview

The SDI COFDM transmitter module features SDI/AHD input interface with COFDM modulation and H.265/H.264 encoding technology, enabling low-latency video/audio transmission in high-speed movement and non-line-of-sight (NLOS) conditions. The module consists of two boards (video codec board and COFDM modulator board) and includes a transparent transmission serial port.

Functional Modes

The SDI COFDM transmitter module operates in various functional modes with different firmware. Default functions include:

  • H.265 video compression and COFDM modulation
  • Video input via SDI or AHD interface
  • Full HD resolution, 1080p/i @60fps
  • Adjustable working frequency, bandwidth, video stream bitrates, and RF power

The default configuration pairs with our HD5 receiver module, with video delay of approximately 200ms to 250ms. Special firmware options include:

  • Standard H.264 compression (pairs with HD1/HD4 receivers)
  • Proprietary H.264 compression for lowest latency (50ms-150ms)
  • Dual-channel video via SDI + AHD input (requires specified firmware)
